the start
I'm stoked! I got an acceptance e-mail from the college I applied to. I can't believe it. I gotta select my classes and courses and I'm good to go. Wow! me a college student. now I just need to figure out how to do the GI bill and everything will be fine lol! Well, just thought I'd let everyone know that

national guard
written earlier today, during a death by slide show block of instruction...
So here we sit, in an auditorium, giving and receiving classes that are “mandated” to deploy. How weird that’s it’s the people NOT deploying that are receiving most of the classes. It surprises me to know that the National Guard thinks that they are better at soldiering than their active duty components. Their reasoning behind it being they only get one weekend a month and a 2week course during the year summer time to be better at what they do. Active duty components do this for a living. Ok so it doesn’t surprise me. This is seriously borderline insanity. Most people are sleeping; some fiddling with their phones and no one is paying attention. The NG (National Guard) is seriously fucked up. I shoulda taken my chances with getting recalled from the IRR.
