the start

I'm stoked! I got an acceptance e-mail from the college I applied to. I can't believe it. I gotta select my classes and courses and I'm good to go. Wow! me a college student. now I just need to figure out how to do the GI bill and everything will be fine lol! Well, just thought I'd let everyone know that

    fill out FAFSA before anything. then, you need to physically GO to your school, and walk into the Financial Aid office. Tell them you're a vet, that you're new, and that you qualify for and want to use the "post 9/11 GI Bill." Bring a DD214, too.

    click on the red button, "start vonapp."

    Select form 22-1990.

    After that, go back to your school, and enroll in classes that you'll ENJOY, and which will meet certain general ed requirements. My first semester included photography, human sexuality, philosophy, and some remedial math. :)

    Glad you are excited about going back to school. Jason seems to have all the particulars down to a science. So good luck and go for it. Hope you have been doing well. The boys are back in town...college campuses around the country will never be the same. :P
